There was an issue today with shipping costs and I spoke to Laura, who not only advised me, but helped me cancel the issued orders saving me a lot of money.

"Customer Service rating only"
Customer Service rating only, printing was fine. However, it is like a chimp is reading your emails (the only way to contact them). I have been telling them for a month the landing page on Amazon needed help, contacted Amazon and they said as I did not set the files up to have whoever did contact them. I send email after email, I do not think they even read them just send out replies A2 or B16, it's like playing Bingo with your work. I just wished someone there cared, obviously, they have not put, many assets into customer service.

"Covers were printed on backwards."
IngramSpark recently printed my books with the cover on backwards. I filed a complaint and got an email back telling me to use the online system to have them reprinted, but the system wouldn't let me. Impossible to talk to anyone about reprinting them.

I am also trying to get on the site to place an order for more of two of my books. The site is telling me that I have to reset my password. I try and it won't let me reset my password. Help! I have a lot of speaking engagements coming up and need more books. Impossible to get a live person to help me.
Very frustrating!
Update: just after posting this, IngramSpark responded and sent me an email to reset my password, however, they refused to do anything about the books that they screwed up. Yes, it is past the 90 day period, however, it is not like I am complaining about a scratch or something. This is such an egregious error on their part, they really should take care of it.
UPDATE: They have helped me log back into my account, so I am moving this from one star to two.
Update: They have agreed to replace the nine books. Took a lot of asking, but they are doing it. Whew!

"Customer service is a JOKE!!"
Customer service is a JOKE!!! The only way to contact them is by email. All replies are form letters. No one ACTUALLY reads what you write. They use keywords to create a reply. For instance, if you mention ISBN you get one form letter explaining how to set up a book. However, our problem was with Ingram accepting legal ISBN's we purchased direct from Bowker through our publisher account. WE OWN THEM--but Ingram Spark does not let us use them to process books. They want us to pay another $85.00 fee to buy through them. It's a scam! Multiple emails to customer service only got more form letters. They never addressed the real problem at all.

"The support staff listened."
There was a rather complicated issue with a recent upload in which the printed books, but especially the hardcover, were different from the eproof. Even though the fine text explains that you have to order a book as a proof, it was the revision cost that bothered me. I had to persist a little in explaining it from my point of view, but the support folks listened!! That was the main thing, they understood and negotiated. I really appreciated that. Plus they were consistently professional and polite. I also think they are now changing their revision policy, (not because of me, haha) but that’s really great.

"Why only 1 email address?"
We have 3 different staff/employees that work in different areas. The owner does not actually work in the office. IngramSpark has a "primary email", but doesn't offer any secondary email addresses. This is a big problem with our office. It means we have to bother the owner each time we want to solve a problem with IngramSpark. Just add another email option or two. Your short-sightedness is causing us a problem.

"Great prices With Poor Customer Support"
Ingram Spark has great prices, and the printing quality is excellent. Their customer service is where they lose the most rating points, where they will often not answer your question and ignore you. It is non-existent... I have experienced delayed shipments with no explanation provided when asked. They do not treat their customers as their most valuable commodity. Terrible customer service.

"I wish I could do two separate review"
I wish I could do two separate review; one would be five star, one less than one. Start with the good stuff. The distribution process is second to none. I published with KDP for several years with sero success; with Ingram, the sales are much improved. Second the physical book is terrific! Very professional quality.
That said, the Book Builder tool is very laborious and counter-intuitive. There is very little flexibility vis a vis fonts, layouts etc. More important, the customer service absolutely sucks! It is non-existent Example, a few sections of the book are done with a very small font, others with a larger font, even though both are set at "body text." I tried to reach customer support and could only get a lot of "articles" that had nothing whatsoever to do with the issue. When I did get an answer, the algorithm evidently saw "font size" and sent me an explanation that large fonts are for the visually impaired! Obviously, they never even read the question!!
In short, Ingram is great when they are great. But if you have the slightest issue, and you will, God help you!

I have been having some trouble with Amazon not stocking my book. Ingram were very helpful and patient with me, and we managed to get it resolved.

"Top marks for all the way"
Top marks for the facility of use of the website to get my book published, the quality of the printing and the services provided. Five stars also for the IngramSpark Support team before, during and after I received my books. Their response to my questions was also helpful and quick. This includes top marks to keep me informed and to solve and refund books that got damaged during transport (not due to IngramSpark). For my next book, I won't hesitate to choose IngramSpark, even though that delivery can take some time due to Brexit.

Their books are truly amazingly good quality, the service is professional, timely, and honest, the customer support is great and thorough; they trust, support, guide and explain in the most respectful way.
A much better quality and more ethical company than Amazon anyday!
